A central lip lift is a procedure which elevates the central portion of the lip shortening the distance to the nose and exposing more of the vermilion (red part) of the upper lip. This procedure can be performed under local anesthesia in an office setting. There is a fine scar that follows the bottom border of the nose that is very difficult to detect.
